Saturday May 26th Velaraid 2018 10th edition ended.

Boats and crews from all Europe sailed in the Venice lagoon exploring and visiting some of its wonderfull sites.

·      - 26 boats registered
  
  - 72 raiders 
  
  - 7 nations: Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain 
  
  - 75 Nm the route

The heavy rain, the lack of wind, the low tides, the sailing against the tidal currents and the hot and stuffy weather were not an obstacle to the strong raiders that always reacted with good appetite and thirst.

As raiders, we visited a farm on the island of S. Erasmo where we tasted the products of the farm.

We had “spritz” in Torcello and at Alberoni.

We swam in the North and South lagoon.

We had a pic-nic in Bacan, at Valle Zappa and in the island of La Certosa.

The music of “Astrid” was always a company during our sailing.
